Dendritic opal is a form of opaline material with veins of manganese or similar materials that creates a floral or vine-like pattern in the stone. Each stone is incredibly unique, and nearly non replicable. A very soft stone, it is often cut for the sake of strength, so it is often found in non standardized cuts. This particular design is built for a kite cut, and is hand made from sterling silver.
